ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,306,797, issued on May 20, was assigned to Saphyre Inc. (Hoboken, N.J.).
"Technologies for file sharing" was invented by Gabino M. Roche Jr. (Hoboken, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure enables various computing technologies for sharing various files securely and selectively between various predefined user groups based on various predefined workflows. For each of the predefined workflows, the files are shared based on a data structure storing various document identifiers and various metadata tags, with the document identifiers mapping onto the metadata tags."
