"Rotor for synchronous motor" was invented by Manabu Horiuchi (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a rotor of a synchronous motor, including: a plurality of poles; and a plurality of first groove portions located on an outer peripheral portion of the rotor, in which a relationship of C1=Px6N is satisfied, where C1 is a number of the plurality of first groove portions, P is a number of pole pairs of the plurality of poles, and N is any natural number."
