ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,597,462, issued on April 7, was assigned to Sandisk Technologies Inc. (Milpitas, Calif.).
"Non-volatile memory with hybrid routing for shared word line switches" was invented by Guangyuan Li (Santa Clara, Calif.), Junsong Xing (San Jose, Calif.) and Fumiaki Toyama (Cupertino, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Word line switches are used to connect word lines to sources of voltage to perform memory operations.
