ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,706,382, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS Co. Ltd. (Suwon-si, South Korea).

"Scalable 2-D joint phase-time arrays and beamforming operation" was invented by Gang Xu (Allen, Texas), Shadi Abu-Surra (Plano, Texas), Shenggang Dong (Dallas), Won Suk Choi (McKinney, Texas), Young Han Nam (Plano, Texas) and Jianzhong Zhang (Dallas).
