ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,731,733, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to SAMSUNG ELECTRO-MECHANICS Co. LTD. (Suwon-si, South Korea).

"Multilayer ceramic capacitor comprising external electrodes with a long band portion" was invented by Youngjun Cha (Suwon-si, South Korea), Chae Min Park (Suwon-si, South Korea), Seonho Kim (Suwon-si, South Korea) and Yong-Won Seo (Suwon-si, South Korea).
