US Patent Issued to Samsung Display, Seoul National University R&DB Foundation on Dec. 2 for "Electronic device" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,489,838, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Samsung Display Co. Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea) and Seoul National University R&DB Foundation (Seoul, South Korea).

"Electronic device" was invented by Eunjin Sung (Yongin-si, South Korea), Jungsuek Oh (Seoul, South Korea), Kiseo Kim (Yongin-si, South Korea), Sangrock Yoon (Hwaseong-si, South Korea), Byeongjin Kim (Seoul, South Korea) and Jeongtaek Oh (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an electronic device comprising a display layer in which an active area and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area are defined and a cover layer disposed under the display layer...
