ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,686,700, issued on July 21, was assigned to Sage Therapeutics LLC (Rockville, Md.).

"Neuroactive steroids substituted in position 10 with a cyclic group for use in the treatment of CNS disorders" was invented by Maria Jesus Blanco-Pillado (Arlington, Mass.), Francesco G. Salituro (Marlborough, Mass.) and Marshall Lee Morningstar (Framingham, Mass.).
