ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,784, issued on July 14, was assigned to SABIC AGRI-NUTRIENTS COMPANY (Jubail, Saudi Arabia).
"Spherical urea-aldehyde condensate fertilizers" was invented by Rajamalleswaramma Koripelly (Bangalore, India), Satish Burla (Bangalore, India), Radha Achanath (Bangalore, India) and Samik Gupta (Bangalore, India).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Fertilizers that contain urea-aldehyde condensates. The fertilizer can be spherical and can be formed using a granulation and/or spheronization technique and optionally can be an extruded fertilizer that is spheronized."
The patent was filed on March 15, 2024, under Application No. 18/605,978.
