ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,714,830, issued on Aug. 25, was assigned to S-Band LLC (Salt Lake City).
"Limb capture device" was invented by Thomas Illu (Salt Lake City), Seth Illu (Flowery Branch, Ga.), Josh Mayhew (Hooper, Utah) and Mark Wahlen (Bountiful, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A limb capture device may include a base with adhesive disposed thereon and a strap for holding a limb to the base to secure the limb."
The patent was filed on Oct. 7, 2022, under Application No. 17/962,452.
