ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,590,562, issued on March 31, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Component mounting and drive in a geared turbofan architecture" was invented by Todd A. Davis (Tolland, Conn.) and David Allen Stachowiak (Durham, Conn.).
