ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,546,641, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Rosemount Inc. (Shakopee, Minn.).

"Hygienic guided wave level measurement with sheath" was invented by Jared A. Clark (Harmony, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A guided-wave level measurement system for hygienic applications is provided. The system includes an electronics housing and system electronics disposed within the electronics housing and configured to generate a radar signal. A probe is coupled to the electronics and includes a waveguide configured to extend into a process vessel. A sheath is configured to receive the probe and extend into the process vessel."
