ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,464, issued on March 3, was assigned to ROHM AND HAAS COMPANY (Collegeville, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Acrolein is produced by selectively oxidizing allyl alcohol over a first mixed metal oxide catalyst in the presence of oxygen in the vapor phase.
