ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,721, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Roche Diagnostics Operations Inc. (Indianapolis).

"Anti-tropinin T antibodies" was invented by Sarah Liedke (Penzberg, Germany), Frank Kroner (Bavaria, Germany) and Michael Schraeml (Penzberg, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to an improved variant monoclonal antibody binding to cardiac troponin T and having a better KD than the parent monoclonal antibody 11-7."

The patent was filed on Feb. 8, 2022, under Application No. 17/666,921.
