ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,542,330, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Rivian IP Holdings LLC (Irvine, Calif.).
"Battery subassembly with potting material" was invented by Sagar Vaidyanathan (Irvine, Calif.), Kyle Butterfield (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), Nilesh Ashok Kharat (Tustin, Calif.), Akshay Kishor Murkute (Irvine, Calif.) and Tyler Jacobs (Hawthorne, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the subject disclosure relate to various features of a battery subassembly, such as a battery module. The battery subassembly may be implemented in an electric vehicle or in a building."
