US Patent Issued to Richards Mfg. Co. Sales on May 13 for "Separable loadbreak design with enhanced ratings" (Pennsylvania Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,945, issued on May 13, was assigned to Richards Mfg. Co. Sales LLC (Irvington, N.J.).

"Separable loadbreak design with enhanced ratings" was invented by Glenn Luzzi (Mt. Bethel, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and improved separable loadbreak connector system capable of providing higher switching and fault close ratings by various means of dividing the arc energy within the connector system."

The patent was filed on Sept. 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/463,597.
