ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,674,537, issued on July 7, was assigned to Reelcraft Industries Inc. (Columbia City, Ind.).

"Hose stop" was invented by Michael Papaik (Columbia City, Ind.) and Edward L. Walter (Columbia City, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hose stop and associated assemblies and methods. The hose stop is configured for being mounted on a flexible hose through the deformation of the hose and subsequent reduction of the deformation."
