ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,618,857, issued on May 5, was assigned to Quest Diagnostics Investments Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).
"Methods for detecting estrone by mass spectrometry" was invented by Mildred M. Goldman (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) and Richard E. Reitz (San Clemente, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are methods for determining the amount of estrone in a sample using mass spectrometry.
