ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,539, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Quest Diagnostics Investments LLC (Secaucus, N.J.).
"Discriminating BRAF mutations" was invented by Amber C. Donahue (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) and Yen-lin Peng (Mission Viejo, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods for detecting and discriminating BRAF V600 mutations. Also provided herein are methods for diagnosis, prognosis, management, and treatment decisions of BRAF V600 mutation-related diseases or conditions."
