ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,413,371, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).
"Signaling support for different timing cases in IAB nodes" was invented by Navid Abedini (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Luca Blessent (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) and Jianghong Luo (Skillman, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node receives, from a parent IAB node, a time difference parameter for over-the-air (OTA) synchronization in an IAB network. The IAB node adjusts transmission or reception of the IAB node based on the time difference parameter for one of multiple types of IAB node alignment."
