ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- United States Patent no. 12,772,998, issued on Oct. 27, was assigned to PureCircle USA Inc. (Westchester, Ill.).
"Mogrosides and use thereof" was invented by Avetik Markosyan (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Siew Yin Chow (Selangor, Malaysia) and Saravanan Ramandach (Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a process for preparation of compositions comprising mogrosides from fruit of Siraitia grosvenorii. The compositions have superior organoleptic properties compared to known mogroside compositions and are useful in wider range of consumables including foods and beverages."
