ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,489,813, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to PURE STORAGE INC. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Performance-driven storage provisioning" was invented by Benjamin Borowiec (San Jose, Calif.), Terence Noonan (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and Patrick East (Bellevue, Wash.).
