ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,647, issued on March 24, was assigned to PURDUE PHARMA LP (Stamford, Conn.).
"Systems and methods for treating an opioid-induced adverse pharmacodynamic response" was invented by Michele Hummel (Marlton, N.J.), Donald J. Kyle (Yardley, Pa.) and Garth Whiteside (Yardley, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed in certain embodiments is a method of treating or preventing an opioid-induced adverse pharmacodynamic response comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of buprenorphine."
