ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,569, issued on June 30, was assigned to PTC Therapeutics MP Inc. (Warren, N.J.) and Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, Va.).
"Use of sepiapterin and metabolites thereof to treat radiation exposure" was invented by Eleonora Mezzaroma (Glen Allen, Va.), Christopher Rabender (Chesterfield, Va.), Ross Mikkelsen (Richmond, Va.), Vasily Yakovlev (Richmond, Va.) and Neil Smith (Cary, N.C.).
