US Patent Issued to Prysmian on March 3 for "Low-smoke, flame-retardant data communication cables" (Indiana, Kentucky Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,567,517, issued on March 3, was assigned to Prysmian S.p.A. (Milan).

"Low-smoke, flame-retardant data communication cables" was invented by Eric W. Bates (Lafayette, Ind.), Stephen A. Thwaites (Walton, Ky.) and James D. Malkemus (Union, Ky.).
