ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,746,248, issued on Sept. 29, was assigned to PRO-AL MEDICO-TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Suffern, N.Y.).

"Compounds and formulations" was invented by Shaker A. Mousa (Wynantskill, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure presents compositions comprising phosphocreatine and nanoparticles containing triiodothyronine (T3), and to their use in treatment of cardiac conditions, particularly cardiac arrest and acute heart failure, as well as conditions generally relating to hypoxia, such as ischemia and stroke."
