ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,689,039, issued on July 21, was assigned to PRIME PLANET ENERGY & SOLUTIONS INC. (Tokyo).
"Electrical collector body of secondary battery and secondary battery" was invented by Daisuke Horikawa (Kariya, Japan) and Yohei Shindo (Toyota, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The electrical collector body of the secondary battery includes a resin layer, and metal foils that cover both surfaces of the resin layer. On the metal foils, multiple holes are formed."
The patent was filed on April 15, 2022, under Application No. 17/721,615.
