ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,583,743, issued on March 24, was assigned to PRAXAIR TECHNOLOGY INC. (Danbury, Conn.).
"Method for carbon formation free operation of reformers" was invented by Tushar P. Vispute (Spring, Texas) and Monica Zanfir (Williamsville, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of operating a reformer furnace is disclosed. The method comprises using a carbon margin in balancing the furnace temperature thereby leading to carbon free formation operation and improved efficiency."
The patent was filed on Sept. 23, 2022, under Application No. 17/951,190.
