ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,032, issued on May 13, was assigned to Pratt Corrugated Holdings Inc. (Brookhaven, Ga.).
"Insulated panels" was invented by Greg Sollie (Sharpsburg, Ga.) and Jamie Waltermire (Peachtree City, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An insulated panel includes a first layer defining an inner surface; a corrugated medium defining a plurality of peaks, the plurality of peaks attached to the inner surface, a plurality of flutes defined between the corrugated medium and the inner surface; and an insulation material at least partially filling a flute of the plurality of flutes."
