ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,981, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to POSCO (Pohang-si, South Korea).

"High-strength steel having superior ductility, and manufacturing method therefor" was invented by Sang-Ho Kim (Pohang-si, South Korea) and Woo-Gyeom Kim (Pohang-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is to provide a steel having high strength properties and also having superior elongation, and a manufacturing method therefor."
