US Patent Issued to PIXART IMAGING on Sept. 1 for "Mobile robot with improved accuracy and generating three-dimensional depth map" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 1 -- United States Patent no. 12,722,278, issued on Sept. 1, was assigned to PIXART IMAGING INC. (Hsin-Chu County, Taiwan).

"Mobile robot with improved accuracy and generating three-dimensional depth map" was invented by Guo-Zhen Wang (Hsin-Chu County, Taiwan) and Tse-En Peng (Hsin-Chu County, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided a mobile robot that performs the de-flickering and different auto exposures in a pixel array in the range estimation to be adaptable to different operating scenarios, and constructs a three-dimensional depth map to lower the cost."
