ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,690,578, issued on July 28, was assigned to PIC Corp. (Clark, N.J.).
"Insect repellant device with simulated flame" was invented by Eric Rubel (Westfield, N.J.), David L. Lowe (Port Monmouth, N.J.) and Lawrence E. Bradford (Scotch Plains, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An insect repellant device including a repellant portion and a light portion with a simulated flame and constant light option."
