ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,717, issued on April 7, was assigned to Peridot Print LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Acriflavine fusing agents for three-dimensional printing" was invented by Emily Levin (San Diego) and Emre Hiro Discekici (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fusing agent for three-dimensional printing can include an aqueous liquid vehicle and an acriflavine dye dissolved in the aqueous liquid vehicle. The aqueous liquid vehicle can include water, organic co-solvent, and surfactant."

The patent was filed on June 28, 2021, under Application No. 18/572,714.
