ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,551,339, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to PECA Labs Inc. (Pittsburgh).
"Expandable implantable conduit" was invented by C. Douglas Bernstein (Pittsburgh), Arush Kalra (Pittsburgh) and Denver Faulk (North Huntington, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Implantable devices including conduits that have markings along the length of the conduit are described herein."
The patent was filed on Aug. 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/456,708.
