US Patent Issued to Pacific Tradewinds on June 3 for "Hydrofoil" (Hawaii Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,319,389, issued on June 3, was assigned to Pacific Tradewinds LLC (Wheat Ridge, Colo.).

"Hydrofoil" was invented by Jaime B. Reh Aguirre De Carcer (Honolulu).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure includes systems, assemblies, sub-assemblies and methods for securely attaching components of a hydrofoil for use in water sports. The hydrofoil may include a mast assembly and one or more wings. At least some components of the hydrofoil may be assembled using toolless connections. The toolless connections may prevent relative axial and/or radial movement between components of the hydrofoil."
