US Patent Issued to P.R.A. on July 14 for "Reusable recyclable thermoformed shipping containers" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,589, issued on July 14, was assigned to P.R.A. Co. (Standish, Mich.).

"Reusable recyclable thermoformed shipping containers" was invented by Shawn J. Windsor (Whittemore, Mich.) and Paul R. Aultman (Coleman, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A thermoformed, reusable, recyclable shipping container comprising a thermoformed shell and a plurality of separate load bearing columns secured within said shell at various locations whereby the stacking load imposed on the containers will be at least partially borne by the load bearing columns."

The patent was filed on Jan. 25, 2023, under Application No. 18/101,540.
