ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,153, issued on April 7, was assigned to Otis Elevator Co. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Elevator car identification and tracking" was invented by Arthur Hsu (South Glastonbury, Conn.) and Brad Guilani (Woodstock Valley, Conn.).
