US Patent Issued to OpenClear on June 23 for "Method and apparatus for personal pathogen status verification at point of entry into an area of congregation" (Nevada Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,664,841, issued on June 23, was assigned to OpenClear Inc. (Henderson, Nev.).

"Method and apparatus for personal pathogen status verification at point of entry into an area of congregation" was invented by Mark Klein (Henderson, Nev.) and Wendell Brown (Henderson, Nev.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and system for personal pathogen status verifying allows an entity to control access to an area of congregation (AOC) at one or more points of entry (POE) is a configurable manner. In one embodiment, the system may be used for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but may be similarly used for other pathogens."
