ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,731,851, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to One Iron Investments LLC (Tulsa, Okla.).
"Battery with a channel therethrough" was invented by Casey Shirts (Washington, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A battery comprises a housing, which includes a first aperture and a second aperture on opposite sides of the housing and on the same axis, creating a channel therethrough. The first aperture and the second aperture and channel may receive a battery hold-down rod (e.g., a J-hook rod) therethrough to secure the battery to a golf cart, vehicle, or other object."
