ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,666,834, issued on June 23, was assigned to OLEDWorks LLC (Rochester, N.Y.).

"Segmented OLED" was invented by Michael Boroson (Pittsford, N.Y.), Jeffrey Spindler (Ontario, N.Y.), Jorg Knipping (Wegberg, Germany) and Manfred Ruske (Kerpen, Germany).
