ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,589,143, issued on March 31, was assigned to Ohio State Innovation Foundation (Columbus, Ohio).
"Human anti-PD-L1 peptide vaccines and methods of their use" was invented by Pravin T.P. Kaumaya (Westerville, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are compositions related to synthetic PD-L1 peptides, chimeric PD-L1 peptides, anti-PD-L1 antibodies and methods of treating cancers, autoimmune diseases, and Alzheimer's disease using said peptides or antibodies."
The patent was filed on Sept. 17, 2020, under Application No. 17/761,457.
