ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,771,175, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to NXP B.V. (Eindhoven, Netherlands).

"Magnetic cover and methods and apparatus to detect positioning of the magnetic cover over a wireless charging transmitter" was invented by Ivan Sieklik (Martin, Slovak Republic), Radek Holis (Karolinka, Czech Republic) and Petr Smejkal (Valasske Mezirici, Czech Republic).
