ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,626,445, issued on May 12, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Graphics rendering using a neural network" was invented by Sameh Khamis (Alameda, Calif.), Sourav Biswas (Waterloo, Canada), Kangxue Yin (Toronto), Maria Shugrina (Toronto) and Sanja Fidler (Toronto).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to generate a surface. In at least one embodiment, one or more neural networks are used to generate a surface of an object based, at least in part, on motion of the object."
The patent was filed on Jan. 27, 2022, under Application No. 17/586,655.
