US Patent Issued to NVIDIA on July 7 for "Method for few-shot unsupervised image-to-image translation" (Finnish, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,675,701, issued on July 7, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Method for few-shot unsupervised image-to-image translation" was invented by Ming-Yu Liu (San Jose, Calif.), Xun Huang (New York), Tero Karras (Uusimaa, Finland), Timo Aila (Helsinki) and Jaakko Lehtinen (Uusimaa, Finland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A few-shot, unsupervised image-to-image translation ("FUNIT") algorithm is disclosed that accepts as input images of previously-unseen target classes.
