ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,608,937, issued on April 21, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Object tracking" was invented by Jonathan Howe (Fairfax, Va.), Yongxi Hou (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Tilman Wekel (San Jose, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to generate labels of objects depicted with in an image. In at least one embodiment, one or more object labels are generated in association with an image frame based, at least in part, on one or more prior frames and one or more subsequent frames."
The patent was filed on Dec. 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/391,152.
