US Patent Issued to NTT DOCOMO on March 24 for "Terminal" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,587,304, issued on March 24, was assigned to NTT DOCOMO Inc. (Tokyo).

"Terminal" was invented by Haruhi Echigo (Tokyo), Hiroki Harada (Tokyo) and Daisuke Kurita (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This terminal includes: a reception unit that receives a response message in a random access channel procedure; and a control unit that, on the basis of information contained in uplink permission contained in the response message, determines the number of uplink signal repetitions scheduled in the uplink permission."
