ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,683,735, issued on July 14, was assigned to NTT DOCOMO Inc. (Tokyo).
"Terminal, base station, and radio communication method" was invented by Hiroki Harada (Tokyo), Daisuke Kurita (Tokyo), Mayuko Okano (Tokyo), Satoshi Nagata (Tokyo), Masaya Okamura (Tokyo) and Tomoya Ohara (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A terminal comprises: a transmission unit that transmits a reference signal used for a purpose other than a measurement related to a radio resource management; and a control unit that assumes the measurement related to the radio resource management is performed using the reference signal."
