ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,537,646, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to NTT DOCOMO Inc. (Tokyo).

"Radio base station and terminal" was invented by Haruhi Echigo (Tokyo), Daisuke Kurita (Tokyo) and Hiroki Harada (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A radio base station receives the uplink channel and performs channel estimation of the uplink channel allocated across the plurality of slots by using the demodulation reference signal allocated to the plurality of consecutive slots."

The patent was filed on Jan. 8, 2021, under Application No. 18/260,676.
