ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,702,698, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to Novo Nordisk A/S (Bagsvaerd, Denmark).
"GLP-1 compositions and uses thereof" was invented by Eva Horn Moeller (Alleroed, Denmark), Michael Duelund Soerensen (Soeborg, Denmark) and Joakim Lundqvist (Malmoe, Sweden).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions of the GLP-1 peptide semaglutide comprising no more than 0.01% (w/w) phenol, their preparation, kits comprising such compositions as well as uses thereof."
