ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,730,526, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Novatek Microelectronics Corp. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Knob device" was invented by Yao Chung Chang (Taichung City, Taiwan) and Chih-Chang Lai (Taichung City, Taiwan).
