ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,599, issued on June 30, was assigned to Novacell Technology Inc. (Pohang-si, South Korea) and Gyongsangbuk-do (Andong-si, South Korea).

"Pharmaceutical composition or health functional food for prevention and treatment of obesity containing powder of novel hybrid mushroom as active ingredient" was invented by Tae Hoon Lee (Seoul, South Korea) and Jae Wang Ghim (Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea).
